I was one of a very few that have had complications at surgery. That being said, I couldn't speak any higher of my experience post-op, and the level of care by Dr. Peraglie. He has always been upfront and made sure I was on track. I am 14 months post op
and I have reduced my hypertension medicines to almost nothing and my uncontrollable diabetes is now controlled (5.8 A1C) with one pill as opposed to several pills and unlimited insulin. I am careful to follow all instructions but have returned to eat everything I have always enjoyed. My weight loss is over 100 lbs., and I feel great. My energy levels are super high, and I sleep normally for first time in 30+ years. I recommend Dr. Peraglie without hesitation. Follow the rules and get your life back.

After several months of severe anal pain following an internal hemorrhoidectomy by a general surgeon(who saw no reason for my pain when he examined me), I went looking for a board certified colorectal surgeon and found Dr. Peraglie. He examined me and quickly found anal fissures overlooked by my general surgeon. I had greatly diminished pain within a week after starting medication and now a month later I have gone from hours of high pain levels to just a minute of moderate pain during BM. If your suffering with anal pain, I highly recommend Dr. Peraglie, a thorough and experienced colorectal specialist.
