  I have lived here at Cloisters for a year now. My experience has been good. No major complaints (remember there is no perfect place). My first apartment here was a 3 bedroom and it was very spacious and clean however during the fall there was a ladybug and stinkbug invasion, most were outside the building all over the vinyl siding and windows and some inside our apartment too. I ended up moving to another apartment here in the complex but the main reason was to save money on rent so I rented a 2 bedroom. The second apartment was not as clean as the first one but as soon as I cleaned the apartment it looked great. I have lived in this 2 bedroom for seven months now and never had an issue, no bugs, no major maintenance problems, no noisy neighbors ( not outside of what' s normal) and no mold. There are a few dumpster areas in this complex and the one closest to my apartment is always clean. These are older apartments and the stove and fridge are older models too. During the summer months the fridge struggles a little to keep items cold, I recommend to buy groceries more often so you don't have to overstock the fridge. Also the mailman that comes and delivers the mail puts the mail in the wrong mailboxes and this happens very often ( this is not an issue directly related to the management here but it happens), I suggest to rent a mailbox in the post office if you receive important documents in the mail. In terms of safety I have seen police officers twice ( like I said before there is no perfect place). Overall is a safe place to live, great location and modest rent prices.
