  A well maintained park with dog park, walking trails, fishing pier, beach, playground and lake views. I like to come here, tether up and call it my remote office for the day sometimes. Great to have a gem like this in the local area. It's free to enter in non-summer months.

  Nice shaded benches and ground water spout features for kids, who control the "on" function after auto shutoff. Nearby sand lot with slides and swings engaged children of all ages.

  cute little nook to take our toddlers. In the summer come early and be prepared to share - not a lot of room for the amount of people you'll see. Large, elaborate playground for older kids right on location too.

  We love to go to this dog park and spend a couple of hours and all of the people and their dogs have been friendly and fun to be around. They have a small dog park and a large breed park that are separate from one another. The small dog park is 20 pound dogs and under. I definitely recommend taking your dogs to let them release some energy at one of these parks if you’re looking for a place to take them in the Cornelius area.
