(October 22, 2016, 11:39 am)Before becoming a public park, this property was meticulously maintained private property. Being a recent change from private property to public park, I think The Town of Howey in the Hills is trying to figure out what to do with the park. While the Public Works department is maintaining the grounds, as of this writing, there are no benches, for example. Having lived near this property for years, it feels like I'm trespassing in the Blevins' yard. I'm sure that will pass in time.
Update: The town has added signage and trash cans.
Update 2: The town has added sidewalks.
Update 3: The town changed the name of the park to Blevins Patriot Park.
