  Absolutely beautiful and peaceful place. Not too busy when I went and the trails were super easy

  Great hiking trails with paved paths and rails. Lots of facilities available for rent or short-term use. Clean bathrooms!

  My favorite spot to take the kiddos when I want to get into cooler summer temperatures. Beautiful scenery, always very clean. There are plenty of easy hiking trails, a lake and several shelters and grills. There are little beaches for the younger ones to play on the river, but the water gets deep and it can run very fast during runoff season, so, keep a watchful eye on the kiddos. If you go, standard rules apply. Stay on the trails and leave nothing but your footprints. ????

  One of our favorite places to take the dogs (on leash) and hike! There are lots of places you can get down to the creek/river, if your dog likes to swim or wade. There are also several covered picnic areas and rest rooms. If you're into fishing, you can do it right from the lake "beach" (sorry...no swimming here) or from one of several sturdy piers. Unfortunately, part of the scenery is still the burned areas from a huge wildfire, several years ago, but for the most part, the views are nice...especially near the lake or creek. Even tho not really big, a great area, that usually doesn't get that crowded that you can't enjoy some solitude.

  Just stopped in for a quick rest. Seemed like a good place to explore later. A pretty lake and the river is rushing. Lots of fisherman.
